Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 5 years of experience is required
- Experience with financial analysis tools and project management tools and/or systems
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support) and/or administrative functions
- Experience supporting cost proposals and/or gate packages
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support successful execution of the program; establish program cadence (battle rhythm)
- Coordinate program reviews, meetings, internal handoffs and customer deliveries
- Support the Proposal Manager for new contracts; manage program-level proposal development process from proposal kickoff through contract award
- Support the PM in partnering with customer on program scope execution and resolution of issues
- Collaborate across all IPTs and CPTs and establish working relationships with functional team members in contracts, finance, planning, engineering, supply chain, quality, digital technologies, and in-country team
- Identify and implement key program metrics and drive corrective actions as required
- Directly support the program risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations
- Support customer program reviews, prepare for customer visits
- Expected to support domestic and/or international travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- International program execution experience, Direct Commercial, and Foreign Material Sales experience is a plus
- Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources
- Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and synthesizing Proposal Review and Contract Start-up packages for management review and approval
- Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management
- Program Management Certified Level 6 or Equivalent, or ability to obtain within 12 months
