Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program (degree will be verified)
• Current state Speech Pathologist license
• Basic computer skills (e.g., word processing and email)
• Current certificate of clinical competence

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical services with appropriate goals, duration, and intensity for each patient
• Adhere to department and regulatory requirements for documentation, charging, and scheduling
• Provide supervision and education to colleagues, new employees, students, and others in training
• Mentor student clinicians during externships/affiliations and new employees
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with other professionals, patients, families, and caregivers
• Participate in patient care conferences, staff meetings, and other required or requested meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Speech Pathology
• Hospital experience
• Experience with the target population to be treated
