Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in People Systems management or a related field, with a focus on system configuration, development and implementation.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team of developers specializing in HR/payroll systems, HCM platforms, or other people-related technologies (preferably, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Proven experience managing the software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
  • Strong track record of building and leading successful teams, with a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with People Systems technologies (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar) and understanding of HR processes and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing People Systems Development team. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages professional growth and development.
  • Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle for people systems projects, ensuring best practices are followed in requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including HR leaders, IT, and business unit heads. Act as the primary point of contact for all people systems-related inquiries and projects, effectively communicating strategy, priorities, and updates.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with established quality standards. Utilize project management methodologies to track progress and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the strategic direction for People Systems. Identify opportunities for technology enhancements and process improvements that align with business goals.
  • Analyze system performance data and user feedback to inform ongoing improvements and enhancements. Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of people systems and initiatives.
  • Lead efforts to promote user adoption of new systems and processes through effective training, communication, and support initiatives.
