Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience managing physical security teams and systems or MS Degree and 6+ years of managing physical security teams; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Active Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI (US citizenship required)
- Vendor management experience.
- Experience interfacing with all levels of employees and leadership
- Ability to analyze security requirements against supplier responses
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects within critical deadlines
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning and presentation skills are required
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and OneNote.
Responsibilities
- Develop and administer security programs and procedures for BWI Security Operations.
- Manage the team responsible for physical security plans, systems & maintenance; intrusion detection system inspections, maintenance & UL 2050 compliance; access control system administration & maintenance; video system administration & maintenance; lock & key; as well as other functions aligned with site physical security operations.
- Oversee projects and tasks assigned to the organizational group performed by non-exempt and/or exempt employees.
- Ensure operations and projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Partner with facilities, infrastructure, IT, environmental health & safety, risk management along with other internal functions to achieve operational goals.
- Develop strategic partnerships with external suppliers to address service requirements.
- Conduct briefings and participate in technical meetings for internal/external representatives concerning specifics operations.
- Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations such as NISPOM, ICD-705.
- Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
- Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
- Conduct security education classes and security audits.
- Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive actions to be taken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active top-secret clearance/SCI
- Experience managing Lenel, Milestone and DMP systems
- Experience using AutoCad, Adobe, Visio
- Project management experience
