Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on renewals and new business
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, particularly within the NY construction sector
- Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- College degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare submissions, work with carriers and wholesalers, secure new business quotes and prepare proposals for Producers to present to prospects
- Oversee the renewal process of assigned remarketing efforts, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Work collaboratively with producers, account managers, and other team members to achieve business goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and brokers
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of commercial insurance coverages, with a priority given to candidates with experience in the NY construction space
