Plant Accounting Clerk

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1-3 years’ accounting experience and/or training, preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word software.
• Knowledge and experience with 10-key adding machine.
• SAP experience (preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounts payable functions
• Communicate effectively with Purchasing Managers to resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with vendors to clarify invoice issues or payment status
• Perform payroll functions, ensuring employees are paid correctly
• Assist with hog bookkeeping functions
• Assist with various other accounting functions as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ accounting experience and/or training, preferred.
• SAP experience (preferred).
