Requirements
- High School Diploma + 5 years in manufacturing and maintenance experience
- 3 – 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience with emphasis on utilities, infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment as well as project execution
- 2D CAD drawing skills for plant layouts and equipment requests
- Basic knowledge of industrial power distribution
- Basic understanding of ladder logic and control systems
Responsibilities
- Plant engineering/capital projects (Scope, cost, justification, timing and execution)
- Cost reduction and work flow optimizations to improve plant efficiencies
- Identify and implement productivity improvements
- Oversee plant infrastructure to maintain and enhance reliability, i.e. compressed air, chilled water and tower water and electrical distribution
- Provide general plant engineering support as required
- Provide engineering, PPE, or training solutions to high exposure areas based on near miss or incident reports
- Development of training documentation for equipment and best demonstrated manufacturing methodology
- Improve preventive Maintenance program through growth of E-Maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering Degree (i.e. Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical)
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel and Project)
- Experience in plastics manufacturing equipment
- Maintenance experience and project management in complex capex projects > $250K
- 3D modeling capability is a plus
- Pneumatic Control design is a plus
