Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field preferred but not required. Relevant experience may substitute for education.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing manufacturing operations.
- Proven track record of implementing lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities including developing high performance teams, coaching and mentoring employees, and fostering open communication channels throughout the organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to build relationships internally and externally.
- Knowledgeable in FSMA regulations related to food processing and handling.
- Familiarity with GMP/GDP principles and HACCP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
