Plant Operator / Operations Technician

Requirements

• Applicants must have a HS diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Controlling and monitoring the processes to produce hydrogen
• Operating and controlling furnaces, compressors, DCS monitoring systems, rotating equipment, catalyst reactors, water treatment systems, pneumatically operated and manual valves, and pressure swing adsorption skid
• Troubleshoot, respond to operating conditions, respond to customer order rates, and process optimization
• Complete operator rounds, execute minor preventative maintenance, and support mechanical and instrumentation maintenance and projects
• Permit work in the field and monitor contract partners
• Participate in Process Safety and Personnel Safety programs and implement site policies and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment with chemical processing or petrochemical preferred
• An associates degree in Process Technology or Engineering is advantageous and may be considered in lieu of experience
