Platform One Devops Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with at least 3 years of technical experience. Additional relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree
Knowledge of collaboration tools and administration (e.g., Mattermost, Slack)
Experience developing within an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
Experience with Git Ops and version control software (e.g. Git)
Experience with DevOps tools with an emphasis on CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab, Nexus, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker)
Experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Golang, Python, Java, C#)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment and possess a willingness to take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
Possess a DoD 8140.03/8570.01 Information Assurance Technical II certification (e.g. Security+) or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
Must be a US Citizen due to DoD contract

Support the development and enhancement of collaboration and knowledge management tools for a wide range of government customers
Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as part of a highly collaborative, multi-contractor support team
Embrace pair programming and possess strong communication skills
Support a game-changing software development approach in support of the United States Air Force (USAF) and the larger Space Community through the development and support for robust DevSecOps pipelines and containerized deployments

Experience with Platform One or other DoD Software Factories
Knowledge of the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence) including front-end and administrative functions & its plugin structure
Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Powershell, ScriptRunner)
Experience writing front-end software using pre-existing frameworks (e.g. React Typescript, Angular, Vue JS, Vuepress, etc.)
Experience and knowledge of Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools (e.g., Fortify, SonarQube, Prisma Cloud Compute)
Experience with application deployment in Docker Containers
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to include services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch
Experience with Kubernetes and/or other container orchestration tools
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g, Helm, Ansible)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform)
Experience with access management and client account technical support (SSO, Keycloak, Appgate)
