Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Past experience working in ITIL, cloud, and data related domains is an asset
- Past experience working on/with audit and controls team is an asset
- Experience working in Agile and working knowledge of SDLC
Responsibilities
- Support engineering teams in the completion of audit and compliance deliverables, ensuring that risks are identified, tracked, and mitigated, and all deadlines are met
- Interpret and apply governance standards, regulatory policies, and procedures, translating them into actionable tasks for engineering teams
- Develop deep familiarity with the platform’s applications, configurations, and workflows to identify areas that require improvement or additional controls
- Support implementation and post-implementation planning and activities
- Collaborate with audit and risk management teams to ensure that all controls and governance requirements are properly documented and fulfilled
- Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders including engineering, compliance, and auditors to ensure smooth execution of platform initiatives
- Lead, facilitate or actively generate action and remediation plans that address performance, risk and governance issues
- Facilitate regular check-ins and progress updates, ensuring clear communication across teams and partners
- Advocate for TDS Data Platform team and manage relationships with Enterprise and risk and governance partners
- Own your reputation as a subject matter expert by identifying risk and providing guidance for complex situations
- Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technology trends/developments and develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques that can contribute to effective solution development/delivery
- Continuously enhance knowledge of TD Securities business domains and their products/services
- Drive operational excellence in Data Platform and Analytics by grounding strategic initiatives in line with governance and control requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree is an asset
- Past experience working in ITIL, cloud, and data related domains is an asset
