Requirements
- Related university degree and six‐plus years of experience OR eight‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
- Proven project management and logistical coordination skills.
- Strong contract administration skills related to budget coordination, management, contractor oversight and inspection and landowner liaison.
- Ability to comprehend and apply technical/engineering concepts, including material standards, regulatory codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Interpretation and application of Enbridge engineering standards, State and Federal regulations, industry codes, and industry recommend practices.
- Development of Open System Job Planning Templates, The hydro-test plans, and other project specific documents in conjunction with engineering and operations.
- Participate and or lead in design reviews, tie-in coordination, outage scope identification, and outage work sequencing and alignment.
- Develop processes and procedures related to PLM.
- Estimate labor, equipment, and materials for specific jobs or projects.
- Equipment and material specification and procurement.
- Capital tools and equipment purchase identification, including cost/benefit development.
- Identifies opportunities and has keen awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders.
- Supervise and/or assist during emergency response activities.
- Participate in Region safety program by attending and participating in Region and group safety meetings.
- Supports the Supervisor in the development and implementation of SCN’s and AFE’s from the budget proposal stage through contract administration, construction management, and cost control and reporting.
- Perform day-to-day Region operations activities as requested per PLM specific role; complete various documentation including permits and FLHA, reports and utility crossings, ensure regulatory compliance, and review Company and PLM standards and procedures.
- Assist U.S. Projects personnel and PM’s with capital projects that impact and will be done in the Region.
- Review and recommend procedural changes to pipeline operations/PLM as needed.
- Provide operations support on various technical issues.
- Provide 24-hour emergency and operations call-out support.
Preferred Qualifications
- An excellent attitude towards and knowledge of corporate safety policies and procedures.
- Mechanical / electrical aptitude and administrative ability related pipeline experience.
