Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working cross-functionally with various teams to reach a common goal.
- Experience developing marketing plans for audiences.
- 6 years of experience in product marketing, brand management, political campaigns, strategy consulting, public affairs, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic scenario planning to inform and improve our engagements and activations across policymakers, third-party organizations, and key user groups.
- Develop and execute a policy strategy that benefits Google users and our business in coordination with Google’s Government Affairs Campaign team and cross-functional partners.
- Work with cross-functional internal teams to organize events, develop collateral, and build narratives to explain Google’s position on emerging topics at the national and state level.
- Create and manage a robust content calendar guided by internal and external policy timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with campaign tactics like rapid response, message generation and testing, list-building and social/online mobilization.
- Experience in the public sector or public affairs marketing or political/advocacy campaigns.
- Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to develop strategy, communications plans, creative campaigns, customer insights, and analyze campaign effectiveness/Return on Investment (ROI).
- Ability to manage and evaluate issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for policy and technology.
