Requirements
- Ph.D. or MD or equivalent in biomedical science and related fields
- Three (3) years of postdoctoral experience
- A record of participation in research and peer-reviewed publications
- Experiences in cell culture, molecular cloning, and western blotting are essential
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the area of expertise including regular bench work on cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry as well as necessary animal procedures
- Train other students and lab members on these techniques when necessary
- Publish research findings in decent SCI journals and present in internal/regional/national/international meetings
- Participate in the writing of grants when eligible
- Contribute to the lab maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. and four (4) or more years of postdoctoral experience
- At least 1 first-authored research article in cancer biology field
- Experience with any of the desired advanced techniques listed above are of great benefit
