Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing budgets, processing invoices, and handling financial aspects of projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex projects and challenges.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in team or independently.
  • Displays excellent prioritization, record keeping and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, MS Word and Outlook).
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to take on additional duties and special projects as needed.
  • At least three years of administrative experience in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to Practice Group Leaders (PGLs) and Industry Group Leaders (IGLs), including scheduling group meetings, events, and programs.
  • Create supporting materials such as PowerPoint presentations and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Knowledge Management Attorneys (KMAs) to develop meeting agendas.
  • Work with the Professional Development Team (PD) to develop and schedule practice and industry group training.
  • Occasionally present firmwide professional development programs.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members into practice and industry groups.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage and coordinate various projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
  • Participate in pilot programs for strategic firm initiatives, providing timely and comprehensive feedback.
  • Maintain and enhance PG and IG pages on the firm’s intranet.
  • Participate in the creation and execution of practice and industry group strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between PGLs, KMAs, and other business services departments.
  • Facilitate collaboration on practice and industry group related tech/innovation efforts, including project implementation and rollout.
  • Assist in collecting PG, IG, and individual attorney experience for pitches and proposals.
  • Maintain PG and IG membership and distribution lists.
  • Manage the processing of invoices and other PG and IG related expenses.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Law firm experience preferred.
