Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or advanced degree from an accredited program in a technical discipline
  • 6 or more years of experience working in technical disciplines across large government programs

  • Excellent presentation and communications skills, including development of and briefing of decision packages and complex information in a succinct and polished manner.

  • Extensive experience using commercial schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) aligned with the Artemis Pressurized Rover requirements. Update the project schedules regularly (e.g., weekly, monthly) ensuring schedule accuracy and adherence to best practices.
  • Analyze schedule performance, calculate metrics, identify critical paths, and provide recommendations to ensure project alignment and performance. Develop and update milestone schedules and phasing plans.
  • Maintain summary schedule charts for Artemis missions for integration efforts and milestone reviews. Coordinate with schedulers and manage schedule links across Program Elements.
  • Review and report on Pressurized Rover International Partner schedules and provide weekly reports on findings.
  • Lead assessments, including schedule risk assessments (SRAs) and other analyses.
  • Serve as a highly proactive technical specialist, understanding issues and formulating options/recommendations, while working closely with the headquarters and program teams across other offices, working groups and panels.
  • Lead forums and venues to formulate and prepare recommendations on improving the mission integration and operations process and drive an outcome. Identify and initiate next level analysis as needed.
  • Perform other duties for the customer as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of experience with NASA or on NASA commercial systems and international partners
  • Understanding of specific NASA Human Spaceflight topics, including EVA, spacesuits, and rovers
  • Extensive project management expertise
  • Demonstrated experience with collaborations supporting multiple disciplines/specialties, including with customers, commercial vendors, and international partners
