Requirements

  • University degree
  • 8+ years of professional experience, preferably in roles that support or lead proposal pricing for US Federal, State, and Local government
  • Proven team leadership skills; ability to coach and influence others to achieve results
  • Broad knowledge of sector/industry/function-specific pricing methodologies, strategies, tactics, and approaches
  • Proven project management skills: ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple (sometimes ambiguous or competing) projects while being mindful of the big picture
  • Strong conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills with understanding of US government requirements
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal (e.g., ability to synthesize and convey complex information clearly and compellingly)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
  • Results-oriented; entrepreneurial and self-driven
  • Collaborative; able to build relationships and influence stakeholders across roles and levels
  • High professional and ethical standards and respect for confidentiality
  • US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

  • Provide pricing support to proposals
  • Collaborate with Practice leadership and management team, Client Development Advisors, proposal managers, and finance and legal/contracting teams
  • Help build out and manage the proposal pricing team for US Public Sector
  • Manage the proposal pricing team’s performance and health, price proposal support model, prioritization, and overall portfolio
  • Lead the development of price proposals for a large portfolio of projects
  • Manage a team of pricing professionals, overseeing hiring, onboarding, training, capacity management, prioritization, connectivity, and performance management
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and establish expectations for exceptional pricing proposal management
  • Serve as a thought partner to consulting teams, offering guidance on pricing best practices and strategies
  • Identify, create, and embed new pricing knowledge, tools, assets, and processes to significantly enhance practice proposal performance
  • Upskill consultants on pricing best practices through short awareness sessions or formal training programs
  • Facilitate reviews with other firm functions, conduct compliance and quality checks, and provide insights on opportunity-specific pricing strategies
