Requirements
- Masters Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering or related
- 4+ years Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline, or equivalent internship or research experience
- 6+ years Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or any related field with relevant modeling/analytical experience, including a Bachelor’s Degree
Responsibilities
- Leads and executes credit risk oversight activities
- Independently analyzes, assesses, and monitors the credit quality of Discover loan portfolios
- Conducts effective challenge on credit strategies and the credit management governance framework
- Performs ad hoc credit risk/asset quality analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics or Engineering
