Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience as a lawyer in the games and interactive entertainment industry.
- Prior in-house experience within a games legal team is strongly preferred.
- Highly adept at commercial contracting and negotiating.
- Strong analytical capabilities and judgment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the business to draft and negotiate agreements related to game creation and distribution, including licensing, publishing and development deals.
- Advise and lead on strategic transactions relating to new game initiatives and partnerships.
- Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams, including Business and Legal Affairs, Consumer Products & Experiences, Content, IP, Privacy, Labor, Marketing, and Transmedia, to ensure alignment across all key stakeholders.
- Plan and advise on various legal matters across the lifecycle of game development.
