Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; PhD with 1 year of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Secret Clearance required at the time of application
  • Administration experience with Linux or related operating systems
  • Experience in an Agile software development framework
  • Experience of administering virtualized or containerized systems in VMWare and Docker
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite (Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence)
  • Source code management using Git/Bitbucket
  • Building applications using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience with Git
  • Working familiarity with the principle of DevSecOps

Responsibilities

  • System analysis, design, develop, build, test, implement, and maintain various systems to meet functional objectives of the business
  • Implement provisioning and deployment techniques via packaging and containerizing for automating requirements testing
  • Function with Agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback
  • Ensure implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
  • Experience with standing up a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline
  • Manage containers using container orchestrators Kubernetes (K8s), OpenShift, preferred
  • Build custom scripts to automate tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python
  • Experience of automating tasks using Ansible and/or Terraform
  • Experience with C++ and Java
  • Familiarity with security coding standard best practices, static and dynamic scanning tools, i.e., SonarQube, Fortify, Coverity, etc.
