Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; PhD with 1 year of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Secret Clearance required at the time of application
- Administration experience with Linux or related operating systems
- Experience in an Agile software development framework
- Experience of administering virtualized or containerized systems in VMWare and Docker
- Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite (Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence)
- Source code management using Git/Bitbucket
- Building applications using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with Git
- Working familiarity with the principle of DevSecOps
Responsibilities
- System analysis, design, develop, build, test, implement, and maintain various systems to meet functional objectives of the business
- Implement provisioning and deployment techniques via packaging and containerizing for automating requirements testing
- Function with Agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback
- Ensure implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Experience with standing up a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline
- Manage containers using container orchestrators Kubernetes (K8s), OpenShift, preferred
- Build custom scripts to automate tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python
- Experience of automating tasks using Ansible and/or Terraform
- Experience with C++ and Java
- Familiarity with security coding standard best practices, static and dynamic scanning tools, i.e., SonarQube, Fortify, Coverity, etc.
