Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly operating expense (opex) forecasts for the sales organization.
  • Generate comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial packages for executive management review.
  • Support the development and implementation of the annual opex budget, partnering with the FP&A team to ensure timely revisions in response to changing business needs.
  • Analyze historical financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to business and financial leaders.
  • Conduct detailed headcount tracking, commission analysis, and assessment of topline trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and consolidate financial data.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for various strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Collaborate with Channel Leadership to support the evolution of the function and optimize resource allocation.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to business leaders to enhance channel performance.
  • Support the development of the channel organization’s annual budget and ongoing operating expense (opex) forecasting, including monthly and quarterly forecasts, ensuring timely revisions to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts for contra revenue.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accruals related to contra revenue.
  • Partner with the partner team to develop and refine forecasting models for improved accuracy.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the annual contra revenue budget.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
