Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including configuration, testing and administration of various modules (proficiency in Absence and Time Tracking is a must).
- Proven ability to understand complex HR programs, policies, and processes, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business partners at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Workday reporting tools, including calculated fields and complex reports.
- Proficiency with EIBs.
- Ability to complete impact analysis of configuration changes and recognize possible downstream impacts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary functional consultant for Workday HCM, managing system configurations and business process designs for various modules including HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Benefits and more.
- Collaborate closely with HR and business stakeholders to understand HR programs, policies, and processes. Translate complex business needs into technical Workday solutions, providing consultative guidance to stakeholders at all levels.
- Work with HR, IT, and other business partners to gather requirements and design Workday solutions that align with HR strategies and operational goals.
- Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting and resolving complex Workday issues, including system errors, data integrity issues, and performance concerns.
- Lead the planning, configuration, testing, and implementation of new Workday functionalities, upgrades, and system enhancements. Oversee project timelines and stakeholder communication.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency using Workday capabilities.
- Design and develop complex reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools.
- Ensure that Workday configurations align with security protocols and regulatory requirements. Manage system roles, permissions, and data security to protect sensitive HR information.
- Develop and deliver user training sessions and create documentation to support end-users in maximizing their use of the Workday system.
- Stay current with Workday releases, best practices, and HR technology trends to ensure that the company remains on the leading edge of HRIS functionality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certifications in one or more modules (HCM, Absence, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Knowledge of HRIS best practices and business process design.
