Requirements
- BS or BA degree with 5 years related experience or Master’s degree with 3 years related experience
- MEL 4-CGSC or Equivalent; graduate of a related Advance Course
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a DoD SECRET Clearance
- Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine
- Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Responsibilities
- Collect and manage data pertaining to military warfighting function (WfF) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military training exercises
- Work closely with military WfF Chief; collect computer generated data, as well as Observer Controller/ Trainer observations, analyze data and prepare visual products for After Action Reviews
- Develop and produce graphic products for exercise unit After Action Reviews
- Assist in exercise design and scenario development when required
- Assist in pre-exercise planning by participating in both Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and Army Exercise Life Cycle (ELC) events
- Assist in the development of exercise plans, coordinate internal and external resources, monitor planning progress and timelines, and prepare contract deliverables items
- Maintain proficiency in the various simulations and models and AAR systems supporting Army training exercises
- Maintain awareness and understanding of current and emerging Army doctrine for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree
- Brigade or higher staff experience
- Joint Task Force (JTF) and Joint Force Land Component Command (JFLCC) staff officer experience
- Previous experience in computer assisted simulation training
- Prior experience as an Observer Controller/ Trainer
- Brigade or higher staff officer experience within the Sustainment Warfighting Function and Army training exercise design experience
