Requirements

  • Strong understanding of wireless technologies including but not limited to CDMA, LTE, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Data Offload.
  • Skills to analyze network and device logs (QXDM, IP packet captures etc.) to validate and create test cases for requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/computer science or related field, Master degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in managing requirements, product development or related field.
  • Good understanding of 3GPP, PTCRB, GCF, WiFi wireless standards.
  • Good understanding of key networking and IP communication concepts (TCP/UDP, IP, DHCP, DNS etc.).
  • Knowledge of key logging tools (QXDM, Wireshark and others).
  • Good understanding of the lab test equipment (Emulators, Shield chambers etc.).
  • Familiar with SQL and scripting languages.
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence to manage the processes and requirements.
  • Understanding of network and device provisioning and management systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and coordination skills to manage a matrixed team from various internal orgs.
  • Must be a self starter and quick learner, able to work in a fast paced environment independently with minimum supervision.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical contact and liaison for outside vendors and/or customers.
  • Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal and external audiences.
  • Research and analyze technical references to obtain knowledge and gain exposure on the latest developments in technology.
  • Oversee the researching, writing, and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical documentation, and formal recommendations and reports.
