Requirements
- Bachelors of Science degree in the field Engineering, Math or Science preferred
- Typically requires 5-8 years of experience
- Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on ATT technologies
Responsibilities
- Researches, designs, plans, develops and/or evaluates new, advanced network technologies
- Work typically includes in-depth assessment of the networked application needs, providing network modeling, prototyping and simulation testing
- Performs network product engineering assignments, including design, development, documentation and testing of network hardware, firmware, software products or systems
- Assignments may include development of new products, enhancements, and modifications existing products
- Develops and evaluates network performance criteria and measurement methods
- May conduct network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies
- Studies and forecasts traffic to determine short and/or long-term capacity needs
- Works with key internal stakeholder and vendors as a point of contact to manage roaming connectivity
