Principal Production Manager

14+ years’ experience in manufacturing or operations
Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Demonstrated experience with project management
Lean and Six Sigma background or comprehensive understanding of principles and tools
Experience in regulatory environments (AS9100)
Excellent communication skills including executive level writing and presentations
Strong facilitation skills and ability to influence without direct authority
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Own and drive the vision and development of a world class manufacturing facility
Partner closely with manufacturing teams and peers to ensure project completion occurs on schedule and within budget
Balance short term wins for functionality with long term success as Blue Origin’s product offerings continue to evolve
Drive and develop an aggressive but achievable factory vision and roadmap
Ensure every aspect of manufacturing and project management has key metrics that drives the business forward
Develop and leverage partnerships across organizations
Serve as a key influencer across the business
Build a world class product management team
Develop capacity analysis methodology to inform prioritized project plan
Lead cross-functional teams – engineering, design, manufacturing, logistics and other partner teams to deliver the right projects on time and within budget
