Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5+ professional years of experience tracking of Program Management processes to meet contract requirements.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Experience contributing to Integrated Product Teams associated with engineering development and integration.
- Experience with tools required for Program Management including Earned Value, Integrated Master Plan/Schedule, Risk & Opportunity Management, Contract Deliverable tracking and program status reporting
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Responsibilities
- Team with Program Manager’s to lead multi-function Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in the execution of contracts, including coordination with Solipsys, Partner, and customer organizations.
- Interface regularly with functional counterparts including Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Human Resources, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Development, Quality, Export-Import and Security.
- Facilitate the tailoring and tracking of Program Management processes to meet contract requirements.
- Coordinate the activities of IPTs by facilitating regular IPT meetings and Program Reviews along with the regular reports required by RTX and Solipsys processes.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of schedule products such as Master Phasing Schedules and Integrated Master Plans/Schedules.
- Facilitate the tracking of Risks and Opportunities.
- Coordinate the tracking and delivery of contract deliverable requirements.
- Participate in the RTX Program Management Training curriculum and achieve Program Management Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Program Management certifications such as PMP, DAU, Defense Acquisition University or similar
- Experience in innovation and business management acumen
- Ability to work within a team and lead a team to foster teamwork and trust
- Agile and Scrum development certifications
- Leadership development training and certifications
