Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Technical leadership of small multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Advanced understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Experience with lab test equipment to include signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers
- Ability to generate and execute test procedures and document results
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Responsibilities
- Research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services
- Develop complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms
- Usher products from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools
- Manage system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
- A subject matter expert on Electronics Intelligence (ELINT) and Electronic Support Measure (ESM) systems and the missions they support
- Experience with airborne RF signal collection and processing systems
- Working knowledge of networking and Linux systems
- Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, MATLAB, Python, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- Advanced knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Ability to establish and track key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
- Progressive experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
- Driven, self-motivated, work in a team environment
- An active U.S Top Secret Security Clearance is preferred
