Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in technical product management or architecture, with a focus on technical products or security solutions.
- Experience with security technologies, including encryption, secure coding practices, authentication protocols, and threat modeling.
- Experience translating technical concepts into requirements and vice versa.
- Familiarity with development tools and environments, such as Jira, Confluence, Git, or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal (and partner) teams to ensure the use and development of security architecture/features/technologies required for our short-term and long-term success.
- Collaborate with partners to gather requirements, prioritize features, and provide secure and creative solutions that meet user and organizational needs.
- Bridge communication between product management, engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure successful Crunchyroll product launches and security updates, as well as our partners.
- Work with internal Crunchyroll and Sony teams (Trust and Safety, IT Security, Security Engineering, Anti-Piracy, InfoSec) to stay abreast of current security, fraud, and abuse issues to combat.
- Identify security risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS), and advocate for secure product development practices.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive security offerings, and emerging threats in the market to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent customer needs and concerns related to security, ensuring that products address real-world challenges while providing smooth, exceptional user experiences.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for security-related elements and measure success through regular reporting and feedback loops.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or Product Management credentials are desirable.
