Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wisconsin.
- Active CPR
- Knowledge and/or experience in geriatrics.
- Knowledge and/or experience with state and federal regulations.
- Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
- Ability to relate well to all individuals.
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
- Ability to adapt to change.
Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed medical treatment under the general supervision of a registered nurse (for LPN).
- Identify, provide for, and accept responsibility for the fulfillment of resident’s total nursing needs (for RN).
- Conduct assessments, administer and monitor medications, and maintain documentation (for RN).
- Ensure the provision of person-centered care (for RN).
