Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics, a Technical Certificate, Industrial/Manufacturing experience, or equivalent experience
  • Have a basic understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and piping
  • Understanding of quality control principles and ability to perform inspections and tests to ensure product quality
  • Proficient in MySQL, MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Proven ability to analyze test data, malfunctions, and deviations, contributing to process corrections
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Support Engineering and Manufacturing by improving and drafting manufacturing instructions, including rework procedures, and ensuring up-to-date qualification schedules
  • Train associates on new or revised manufacturing instructions
  • Provide daily coverage of production line processes for smooth operations, responding promptly to out-of-control processes to minimize costs and maximize productivity
  • Investigate and implement countermeasures to enhance process Cpk and product yield
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data under the guidance of process engineers, including but not limited to Design of Experiments (DOE) and Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R)
  • Lead disposition of non-conformance materials produced by the production line, escalating issues to the production engineering team as necessary
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives, managing parts and tools inventory, executing repairs and troubleshooting precisely according to instructed processes, and managing workload proactively with a positive attitude to assist co-workers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in electrode manufacturing or a related industry (e.g., battery production, fuel cells, or electrochemical processing) is highly desirable.
