Requirements
- Knowledge of environmental and safety rules
- Ability to perform housekeeping duties
- Ability to conduct equipment and process field inspections
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments
- Ability to operate mobile equipment
- Knowledge of the functionality of all Plant equipment
Responsibilities
- Perform material handling activities using overhead cranes and front end loaders
- Locate, monitor and perform field inspections on all Plant equipment
- Make minor mechanical repairs
- Initiate necessary actions on plant equipment as required by supervisor
- Assist maintenance department personnel as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance inspection and check lubrication systems
- Operate cardox, blasters, air/water lances, clean ducts and vessels, inspect/troubleshoot equipment on preheater tower
- Assist in laboratory product sampling and procedures
- Locate and check out spare parts as needed
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned
- Perform minor electrical work
