Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Procurement utilizing SAP
• Minimum 2+ years managing direct reports
• Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person, defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
• Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People’s Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an international procurement team’s activities and performance, Procurement and supplier metrics, working with internal customers and suppliers to ensure needs are met
• Manage procurement activities including purchase order placement, negotiation of best possible pricing, terms and conditions, and monitoring delivery of services and materials to ensure timely receipt for initiatives across the company. Resolve supplier performance issues
• Lead deployment and implementation of procurement initiatives and systemic continuous improvements including deployment of additional modules of SAP S4 to support MRP, and supporting Smartsheet workflows
• Mature Procurement policies and procedures and process improvements to ensure compliance with requirements. Implement process controls and update standard work for all Procurement roles and responsibilities. Ensure effective communication of policies and procedures
• Improve working capital through payment term extensions, payment cycle optimization, and lead time reductions
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to establish well-defined procurement documents, which may include Statements of Work and tactical agreements
• Build and foster relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Responsible for the supplier performance metrics review and reporting process including on time delivery, PO acknowledgement and past due performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Management of direct reports, demonstrated strong leadership skills, interpersonal communication skills, collaborative, and engaging behaviors
• Experience with cross functional deployment of MRP in SAP systems
• Demonstrated Business and financial acumen
• Strong project management skills including the ability to manage priorities and workflows
• Proven experience with R&D, manufacturing/business process development and improvement
• High bias for action with creative problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Excel, Power Point and Smartsheet
• Excellent written and communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of leadership
