Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields such as Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, preferred.
- 5-6 years of experience in non-food procurement category management with a focus on services, utility, and IT categories for a large, multi-unit, and multi-state company as desirable.
- Proven ability to build productive partnerships and generate cost savings and productivity via service provider contracting/negotiating, as well as identifying incentive programs offered by governmental entities.
- Strong administrative and analytical skills, including cost benchmarking and developing data-based recommendations shop and company efficiencies.
- Expertise in supplier relationship management and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with procurement practices in the QSR industry is highly desirable.
- 10%-20% travel required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for shop services categories, ensuing alignment with organizational needs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Facilities and Operations, to propose improvement programs targeting wasteful utilization.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts in service categories, focusing on cost-effectiveness, service quality, and innovation.
- Partner with internal and third-party stakeholders to conduct price and service audits of service providers.
- Leverage new construction volume to identify and secure investment rebates and credits from applicable programs.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT-related goods and services, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT solutions, focusing on cost-effectiveness, service quality, and innovation.
- Ensure that IT procurement processes are compliant with company policies and industry standards, while supporting the overall business objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend strategic technology investments that improve operational efficiency within facilities.
- Drive sustainable procurement programs related to utility and waste management.
- Manage recycling, composting, and sustainable waste diversion efforts to optimize cost and size of waste management programs.
- Collect and analyze data related to Sustainability governance, including but not limited to greenhouse gas emissions, water, and waste diversion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with procurement practices in the QSR industry is highly desirable.
