Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience line-producing network programming
- Ability to write copy quickly
- Strong knowledge of font codes and procedures
- Demonstrated interest in international news
- Willingness to work any shift including weekends and overnights
Responsibilities
- Liaise with supervisors, anchors and newsgathering colleagues to deliver strong, live newscasts
- Be across key video and sound to call elements during shows
- Work with guest planners on focused segments
- Coordinate with copy editors on writing assignments
- Have a keen sense of show time, and demonstrate responsibility in placing sponsored content where required
- Must be comfortable working in high-pressure breaking news situations and demonstrate proficiency in communicating with their anchor and team during such events.
