Responsibilities
- Work hand-in-hand with Product Managers to translate product vision and strategy into actionable epics and user stories, ensuring alignment with the overall roadmap.
- Regularly meet with stakeholders to capture requirements, provide feedback on work-in-progress, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Define and refine epics and user stories with detailed acceptance criteria, ensuring they are clear, actionable, and aligned with strategic goals.
- Strategically manage the backlog to ensure that sprint work is prioritized in alignment with goals and the product strategy/vision.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand ups, refinement sessions, demos, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the team, ensuring that dev work targets user needs, pain points, and opportunities.
- Stay connected to data that tells the story of the product. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of product features and make informed decisions to optimize outcomes.
- Partner with development and QA to ensure that all features meet quality standards and align with defined requirements before release. Oversee the release process to guarantee a clean and successful rollout to customers, including coordinating with cross-functional teams to manage deployment, monitor post-release performance, and address any issues promptly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 2-4 years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a related role.
- Experience with agile methodologies and working in scrum teams is a plus.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other SDL tools.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI or other data analysis tools is a plus.
