Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Management, Communication or Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years with a product manufacturer or service provider selling directly to builders
- Minimum of 2 years of involvement with Building Science
- Comfortable at construction job sites
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Experience with prospect management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers, dealers, and influencers.
- The ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
- A desire for continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Use existing relationships to start meaningful conversations regarding the adoption of Aeroseal technology in new residential builds.
- Work with sales team to establish builder adoption projections and generate ongoing sales opportunities.
- Create relationships with Local Energy raters to ensure Aeroseal technology is considered and used in proposals to builders as they consider performance building characteristics.
- Create and foster relationships with local installers, creating an understanding of their strengths and weaknesses to assist in identifying which dealers are the best fit for opportunities.
- Work closely with the Aeroseal Applications Engineering team to understand energy models, builder cost trade-offs, and implications of creating a tight building envelope. Be a part of the team presenting results and be available to the builder, rater, or influencer to quarterback building science questions or concerns.
- Assist in qualifying builder opportunities and being available as a resource to help secure business opportunities.
- Visit job sites to inspect potential issues, quality concerns, or simply meet to understand building science challenges or advantages.
- Attending industry trade shows and product demonstrations.
- Maintain information in Salesforce of all prospective client, rater, influencer information.
- Collaborate with management on goals, planning, and forecasting.
- Become a subject matter expert on our products, processes, and operations.
