Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (chemistry, biochemistry, or related discipline)
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in product management, preferably in analytical instrumentation or scientific equipment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to balance technical expertise with business acumen

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision for our Software product line
  • Define short-term and long-term product strategies to drive growth and market share
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, sales, and customer support) to create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and new product launches based on customer needs, market demand, and business goals
  • Conduct market research to understand customer pain points, needs, and preferences related to Software products
  • Collect and analyze data from customer feedback, surveys, and market trends
  • Translate insights into actionable product improvements and innovations
  • Work closely with R&D teams to define product requirements, specifications, and performance metrics
  • Guide product development efforts, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Monitor project progress, address roadblocks, and adjust priorities as needed
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create effective go-to-market plans
  • Develop pricing strategies, product positioning, and messaging
  • Support product launches, training, and promotional activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong track record in product management in a scientific company
  • Gas Chromatography experience preferred but not required
