Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a B2D (business-to-developer) tech company, with a focus on developer tools, APIs, or platform products.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, customer-centric messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience launching products or features, driving adoption, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of developer ecosystems with the ability to tailor strategies for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using tools like PostHog, Amplitude, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar to measure campaign performance and optimize outcomes.
  • Self-starter attitude with a passion for taking ownership and thriving in the ambiguity of an early-stage startup.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, compelling, and differentiated positioning for our platform that speaks to both developers and businesses, ensuring alignment with Vapi’s mission and value proposition.
  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, feature releases, and campaigns, collaborating with product, sales, and developer relations teams to drive awareness, adoption, and usage.
  • Conduct market research, gather feedback from developers and enterprise customers, and analyze competitor landscapes to inform product strategy and marketing initiatives.
  • Create impactful marketing materials, including website copy, case studies, whitepapers, pitch decks, and demo scripts, to showcase the platform’s capabilities and success stories.
  • Partner with the Developer Relations team to craft messaging and content that inspires developers to build on our platform, amplifying their success through marketing channels.
  • Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive sign-ups, engagement, and conversions for both developer and business audiences.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of marketing efforts, iterating based on data-driven insights.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and the product team, advocating for user needs and ensuring their voices shape our roadmap and messaging.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in voice technology, AI/ML, or SaaS platforms targeting developers and businesses.
