Product Owner IT

Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or similar)
5+ years of experience with industrial automation systems
Experience in high volume distribution or manufacturing environments that utilize automation for processing across multiple shifts (24×7 ideally)
Ability to explain advanced technical concepts verbally and in written format
Ability to think critically with the vision to work both tactically and strategically
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, while working with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical and trend analysis skills
Excellent problem solving skills
High level of self-motivation
Contribute content for senior leadership presentations or report-outs

Perform the role of product owner with the scrum team
Perform other duties as part of the scrum team as required
Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
