Requirements
- Bachelor degree and 3 years related work experience OR 8 years minimum related work experience
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload
- Team player with high energy and a can-do attitude
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Overtime expected and required on short notice
- Material Requirement Planning knowledge required
- Capable of understanding and conducting basic arithmetic and statistical operations
- Ability to quickly recognize errors and inconsistencies in numerical data (good analysis skills)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Daily production scheduling to meet customer requirements while maintaining Heijunka systems and considering production capacities
- Weekly horizon forecasting and Monthly target system setting
- Maintain production tracking files
- Coordinate Engineering Changes (ECIs) and phase-in/out activities
- Communicate effectively with DENSO affiliates, customers, suppliers and other departments in DMMI
- Monitor backorders from production
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive background
- Experience with kanban system
- PC skills/ CIGMA
- Leadership abilities
- Knowledge of Production planning systems
