Requirements
- Strong time management skills

- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience: The 2 years of related experience is required for external candidates. Internal candidates must have at least 6 months of experience in Eos manufacturing and have demonstrated the skills and abilities required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Track and report data required for MDI, KPIs, and the Hour-by-Hour Production Boards.
- Recommend changes in capacity for manpower and machinery, assuring that all groups are trained to meet objectives in accordance with weekly and monthly production plans.
- Monitor the production area for safety hazards and quality and productivity issues and report concerns to Manufacturing Supervisor. Assist with the resolution as necessary, with the exception of personnel concerns. All personnel concerns must be handled by the Manufacturing Supervisor directly.
- Train and cross-train employees on safety protocols, operating procedures for machines, and new procedure implementations in the department. Verify training effectiveness and report completed training.
- Report maintenance issues using the maintenance reporting system.
- Document and record various aspects of production operations, including production, inventory usage, and safety incidences.
- Monitor that all work area/stations are kept in compliance with housekeeping guidelines and report issues to Production Supervisor. Assist in implementation and adherence of 5S system.
- Assist with Lean Manufacturing implementation and adherence by acting as a water spider as needed, which involves ensuring that materials are supplied to the manufacturing line where and when they are needed. This includes keeping workstations fully stocked with materials and proactively ordering/requesting critical supplies to avoid down-time, moving materials, parts, and tools, removing waste materials, etc.
- Assist in performing hands-on production duties as needed to cover breaks, absences, etc.
- Models professional behavior and adherence to all work rules, such as adherence to break schedules, starting work promptly at the beginning of the shift, maintaining reliable attendance, following all safety procedures and company policies, etc.
- Working occasional overtime and/or weekends as required.
