Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales compensation, accounting, or finance.
  • Understanding of sales compensation accounting and commission structures.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain complex financial models (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar).
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and able to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers and internal teams to deliver best-in-class professional services.
  • Lead and manage end-to-end implementations and other key projects.
  • Become an expert in CaptivateIQ and guide customers on best practices.
  • Leverage your accounting expertise to develop and maintain compliance-aligned best practices for using CaptivateIQ.
  • Analyze customer requirements and design efficient, scalable system configurations.
  • Configure, test, and validate implementations to meet customer needs.
  • Provide consultative guidance to customers, helping them optimize and scale their use of CaptivateIQ.
  • Deliver post-implementation support by resolving accounting- and model-related inquiries submitted via support tickets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA license or equivalent accounting certification.
  • Knowledge of ASC 340, ASC 606, or IFRS 15 related to commission capitalization and amortization.
  • Experience with CaptivateIQ or similar sales compensation software (SAP Callidus Cloud, Xactly Incent, Varicent).
  • Hands-on experience in implementing software, especially sales compensation software.
  • Proficiency in databases, data visualization, or modeling tools.
  • Background in financial operations, FP&A, accounting, system implementation, sales engineering, or technology consulting.
