Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing IT projects and assets as a cohesive portfolio to meet customer objectives.
- Develop and maintain IT portfolio roadmaps.
- Align IT initiatives with contract objectives and strategies.
- Assess portfolio risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee multiple IT projects/programs within the portfolio.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to scope and quality.
- Prioritize projects based on contract needs, resource availability, and ROI.
- Collaborate with team leaders to allocate resources efficiently.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT teams.
- Provide regular status updates, and performance metrics.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned.
- Lead change control processes to minimize project disruptions.
- Ensure proper documentation of changes, approvals, and version control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to plan long-term IT initiatives and adapt to organizational shifts. understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and emerging technologies.
- Leadership: Skilled in guiding teams, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
- Risk Management: Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within IT projects.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication for reporting to customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Project/Portfolio Management Tools: Jira, Microsoft Project, PPMs Frameworks: PMBOK, Agile, ITIL, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Collaboration: Microsoft SharePoint and Teams, Slack, Confluence
- Balancing competing project priorities across business units.
- Managing resource constraints within budgetary limits.
- Ensuring projects stay aligned with shifting organizational goals.
