Requirements

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • Ability to obtain DOD Security Clearance.
  • Cost control experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program financials including development of time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management, and ongoing overseeing of cost and schedule integration.
  • Perform analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identifying trends, and providing information to Project Leadership Team for corrective action implementation.
  • Oversee financials for multiple programs in a portfolio area.
  • Develop and maintain program Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) for earned value / project management purposes.
  • Incorporate regular status and Estimate to Complete (ETC) updates based on inputs from Cost Account Managers (CAMs).
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecasting.
  • Preparation and analysis of Estimates at Complete (EACs) and complete financial support to assigned program teams.
  • Ensure compliance to Mission Systems Earned Value System Description.
  • Travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience presenting to large groups and leadership
  • Understanding of Earned Value Concepts
