Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, program management, and business operations
- 10+ years of experience with project management and leadership
- Experience with the development and execution of DoD acquisition strategies
- Experience with the development of RFIs and RFPs
- Experience with source selections and technical evaluations
- Experience with U.S. Space Force systems and organizations
- Ability to interface with internal and external clients and stakeholders
- Ability to facilitate and contribute to cross-functional team meetings and collaborate in professional environments
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Work closely with DoD clients in support of the warfighter
- Aid in the acquisition of capability to meet mission objectives
- Manage technical projects, including performance, cost, schedule, and risk
- Provide acquisition expertise regarding contract alignments across segment developers
- Develop Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Participate in source selections and perform technical evaluations of offers or proposals
- Prepare, process, and review various acquisition documents to ensure compliance with established processes and policies prior to coordination
- Provide acquisition knowledge and counsel to the program office
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
- Lead meaningful acquisition support
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with space and ground technologies and systems
- Experience with the GPS mission areas, including Space, Ground, or User Equipment
- Experience with analyzing program-level and enterprise-level integrated master schedules
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
- Master’s degree
- Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level I or higher Certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
