Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years, or Master’s and 3 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts involving planning, procurement, hardware production, and/or parts management, in Aerospace and Defense industry
- In lieu of a degree, 5 years of relevant experience (manufacturing, parts procurement, parts management) may be considered
- A minimum of 3 years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager, including tracking as the Task Order level
- Experience with Driving adherence to the change management including adherence to contract scope and manages changes at both the program and Task Order level
- Ability to manage external customers and internal functional teams through all aspects of engineering, development, hardware fabrication and testing
- Demonstrated financial management skills including development and control of program budgets, schedules, risk management, EAC’s and the ability to recognize and capture program changes
- Excellent external and internal communication and presentation skills
- Position requires that the applicant must be able to obtain a clearance
Responsibilities
- Establishing a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub-organizations
- Managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program, including tracking as the Task Order level
- Interfacing with internal and external customers, vendors, and company support organizations
- Developing and delivering presentations to executive management and other program stakeholders
- Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization
- Ensuring that projects and/or Task Orders are completed on schedule and within budget
- Participating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions
- Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements
- Driving adherence to the change management process by ensuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope and manages changes at both the program and Task Order level
- Developing and adhering to budget baselines for Task Orders issued and defined by customer requirements
- Managing Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.)
- Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previously worked in a deadline driven environment
- Experience in the defense industry
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated strong ability to multi-task in a challenging environment with competing priorities in a positive manner
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- STEM Degree
