Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in one of the following areas: supply chain operations, financial planning and analysis, management consulting, or similar environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an Operations Cost Manager leads for all non-BOM related costs for assigned products.
- Drive analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction opportunities and investment prioritization and efficiency improvements.
- Partner with Finance teams including Supply Chain Finance, Accounting and Financial Operations to ensure Google’s accounting, compliance, and other financial requirements are supported.
- Oversee the development and tracking of accurate driver level cost models from concept to design stages and through entire product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify consultation, design, feature, and operational cost opportunities and track through to action.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in Should-Cost modeling and analysis.
- Knowledge and experience working with supply chains, contract manufacturers, and consumer hardware.
