Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience with supplier sourcing and negotiating vendor contracts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive category strategy roadmap that includes a detailed analysis of current and future supplier capabilities, identifying opportunities for innovation.
- Participate in thought leadership to Center of Excellence (CoE) communities, sharing best practices, developing performance models, and driving continuous improvement in category management.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across different departments to ensure alignment between strategies and overall business objectives with a focus on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost savings, service levels, contract compliance, and supplier performance.
- Leverage knowledge in supplier contracting to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate favorable contract terms and implement effective spend management strategies.
- Develop and manage a supplier selection process that incorporates market analysis, industry practices, technology solutions, and pre-qualification tools to identify and onboard high-performing providers.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience working with third-party logistics partners and extended workforce providers.
- Experience within the risk management space, including risk assessment, risk reporting, audit, compliance, or risk management standards.
- Experience with global commodity management.
