Requirements
- High school diploma
- At least five years’ experience in project accounting or a similar accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems in an accounting role
- Organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Complete tasks with competing deadlines
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit monthly invoices for fixed fee, lump sum, and hourly (time and material) contracts, per client requirements.
- Investigate and resolve billing issues.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are: Updated with accurate information. Billed accurately and on time.
- Create and maintain project records in the network drive and accounting ERP system such as updating client contract information, updating budgets/work breakdown structures, and documenting critical project notes.
- Review project contracts for compliance, modifications, and billing requirements.
- Perform routine monthly collection efforts and follow-ups.
- Assist with scanning and filing cash receipt back-up documents.
- Assist with project audits and generate custom reports, as required.
- Other day-to-day accounting-related tasks, as required.
